A Little Baking Soda Never Hurt...
Okay, washing my face with Baking Soda has become one of my new FAVORITE things to do lately. Seriously amazing!:)
I heard from a friend of mine, who is an incredible Esthetician, that she uses baking soda to exfoliate her skin and that it is a dream. I didn't think much of it, or that it would really work, but thought I would give it a try.
No joke my friends, it's the BEST! I have been washing my face with baking soda once a week since I learned about it. Some people use it as a masque once a week, but I just wash my face with it once or twice a week.
To reap the benefits of exfoliating with baking soda, add a teaspoon of the powder to your facial cleanser, mix well, and massage into skin like you would with a regular exfoliant. Do this 2-3 times a week or as per your regular exfoliation routine.
Everyone's skin is different. Some people can exfoliate their skin more then others. I have sensitive skin so I usually just exfoliate once a week. My husband's skin is not sensitive at all, but gets a bit oily so he exfoliates 2-3 times a week.
PS... He has been using the baking soda as well, and loves it. It has changed his skin. It doesn't get oily whatsoever. It is a bit drying to the skin, so if you have excess oil you will love this. If you have dry skin be sure to moisturize afterwards.
A few differences I have noticed about my skin since I have used the baking soda as a cleanser..
- My skin is crystal clear
- Absorbs excess oil that I get sometimes in my T-zone
- I seriously feel like I get an instant face lift after each use
- My makeup applies so evenly
- My pores have shrunk around my nose
If you have never used baking soda in place of your cleanser or a masque, you really need to. You wont regret it, and your skin will be flawless! I can't imagine not using it now. It's seriously the bomb!:)
Try it and let me know what you think! I would love to hear about the changes you see in your skin after using it!
One last thing... If you google ways to use baking soda, you will find a million tips and tricks. Such a cheap and an easy way to make you beautiful!
Have a great weekend, and thank you for stopping by. :)

I do that as well & it is definitely amazing!
ReplyDeleteAre you an esthetician? If so, do a microderm first & then at night wash with baking soda & you'll notice a HUGE difference!
